• Discounts can be viewed in detail by scrolling down below payment options in the Summary. 

• The shopping cart allows shipping to one address per order. 
  • To ship to more addresses, please place a separate order. 

Shopping Cart Overview

1. Shopping Cart Total
2. Select or Deselect All Items in Cart
   • Click the box to select or deselect all of the items in the cart.
3. Item Description
   • Provides a brief description of the item and the Project name.
4. Remove, Edit or Preview Items
5. Remove Item From Cart
   • Click to be given the option to remove the item from the cart and the item will then be saved to 'Projects.'
6. Adjust Quantity
   • Use the '-' to decrease the quantity and the '+' to increase the quantity.
7. Details for Each
   • Click the downward arrow to see additional details about an item including any additional pricing or discounts. 
8. Continue Shopping
   • Hover over 'Continue Shopping' to be shown a menu to select a specific category.
9. Total Savings
   • Shows the total savings for items selected in the cart.
10. Subtotal, Shipping & Tax
    • The Subtotal shows the total before shipping and taxes but after the promotions have been applied.
11. Use Credit
    • Click the checkbox to use any available Gift Card balance (if applicable).
12. Proceed to Checkout or Use PayPal Checkout

Shows the total of the items currently in the cart. This total already has any discounts deducted and will be the total amount charged for the order. Also shows how many items are selected for checkout. 

• Items removed from the shopping cart will be saved to 'My Projects' and removed from the 'Cart Total'. 

• Click the three horizontal dots beside the item to be taken to either Preview or Edit the project.

• • Clicking 'Edit' will open up the project for edits to be made.
  • Clicking 'Preview' will show a preview of the project with the 'Edit' option in the bottom right corner.

Promos and Gift Cards can be entered in the box 'Promo Code/Gift Cards.' Once the code is entered, click 'Apply' to apply to the current order. Click on 'View Saved Promos' to view promo details or change which promos are applied. See Help Center Article Navigating Promotions & Special Offers for more information regarding promos. 

Discounts appear within the Order Summary, with each promo showing the amount saved for the order.

Checkout will allow a few additional options and will finalize the order once 'Place Order' is clicked. 

  

1. Estimated Delivery
   • This date can be found beside each item in checkout. 
2. Place Order
   • Order can be placed and is finalized after clicking 'Place Order.'
3. Shipping Information
   • Click the drop-down to select a previously entered address.
   • Click 'Edit' to modify a previously entered address.
   • Click 'Add Address' to add a completely new address.
   • Verify Shipping may be displayed when an address is entered.
   • Select either 'Keep as Entered' to use the exact address entered or select 'Suggested Address' if the suggested address is correct. 

4. Shipping Options
   • Options can be selected based on the desired shipping speed. 
5. Payment Information
   • This information can be added or updated. 

• Shopping Cart Longevity
  • Shopping cart contents are retained for a period of 180 days following sign-out or browser closure. The 180-day retention period resets upon any of the following actions:

• • • Addition of a product to the cart.
    • Removal of a product from the cart.
    • Modification of any project within the cart.
    • Adjustment of item quantities in the cart.
  • Each item remains in the cart regardless of its original addition date. The 180-day timer is based on the most recent cart update or modification.
• Cart Content Notification
  • Upon signing out with item in the cart, a notification will appear indicating that items remain in the cart. Options will be provided to either proceed with sign-out (saving cart contents) or to review the cart.
• Promotions and Discounts
  • Promotions and discounts are applied at the time an order is placed and are saved to the account.
  • Sale benefits can't be retroactively applied after a promo has ended, regardless of when items were added to the cart.
  • Only current pricing and active offers will be reflected and applied during checkout.
  • Discount preferences are not saved in the cart. Please note:
    • Preferred discounts must be manually selected or deselected during each session, except for system-applied discounts at checkout.
    • Only valid, unexpired Shutterfly promotions and offers are eligible for application.
  • Promotional changes between sessions may affect the total cart value.
  • The final amount displayed at checkout represents the amount to be charged.
  • Verification and application of discounts prior to order placement is recommended.
