Account information can be updated or changed within a Shutterfly account on the website or by using a mobile web browser such as Google or Safari. Use the steps below to change specific information.

Helpful Tips
- For customers without a previous Shutterfly order, billing information must be entered during the Checkout process.
- For returning customers, billing information can be updated during Checkout or through Account Settings.
- Updating Account information is unavailable on the mobile app.
- Use a web browser on the mobile device such as Google or Safari.
Account & Settings
- Sign in to Shutterfly, Click 'Hi, (Your Name)' at the top of the screen, and Click 'Account & Settings'.

Personal Information

- Name
- E-mail
- Change the email address for the account.
- Must have the current Shutterfly password.
- Shutterfly only allows one account per email address.
- If a new email address can't be entered, it may already be linked to another account.
- Log into that account and change the email address to free it up for use.
- Password
- Change the account password.
- Must have the current Shutterfly password.
- Mobile Number
- Change mobile number on the account
- Must have the current Shutterfly password.
- Account Recovery Email
- Add a recovery email address to help access the account.
- Must have the current Shutterfly password.
- Contact Address
- Change the Shipping Address.
- Provides the option to use the contact address for the billing address.
- Billing Information
- Gives the option to 'Edit billing info' or 'Remove billing info'.
- This will display the last four digits of the credit card number and billing address, with only one billing address per account.
- If an order fails, ensure the billing details don't need to be updated.
- When updating the Credit Card number, the entire number and the CVV must be entered.
Notifications & Alert Settings
- Use the toggles to turn different notifications on or off.
- Discounts & Deals
- Receive emails about deals, discounts and more.
- Receive postal mail about deals, discounts, and more.
- Order Status Updates
- Order status updates aren't able to be turned on or off
- Photo Emails
- Receive emails with memories from earlier photos.
- Receive emails when others share photos with you.
- Receive emails with others who share albums with you.
Photo & Video Details
- Photos
- Shows the current total number of photos in the account.
- Printing Preference
- VividPics

Shutterfly uses Auto-Enhancement technology to analyze and enhance photos, optimizing exposure and colors for superior quality prints. This Auto-Enhancement tool, also known as VividPics, is automatically applied to all Shutterfly prints and projects.
- VividPics doesn't sharpen highly pixelated images or lighten excessively dark photos.

It is recommended to disable VividPics for professionally taken photos.

The default setting for VividPics is 'Enabled,' indicated by an orange button in the Image Preferences.

Once a project has begun with VividPics enabled, this setting can only be changed by turning it off for each individual photo.

Disabling VividPics within an account will only affect new projects initiated after the setting has been changed.

- See any current Video Plans or upgrade to have access to a Video Plan.
Memberships
- Lists any memberships connected to the Shutterfly account such as Costco or Amazon Prime.
- Also provides the option to add memberships.
Manage Privacy Settings
- Know, Fix, or Delete Your Data
- Make a request to access, correct, or delete data.

- Control targeted advertising.
