• Due to ongoing supply chain and shipping challenges, ordering as early as possible is recommended.
• The chart above offers average production and shipping times by method, but the cart will provide more accurate estimates.
• For holiday card orders, allow time for addressing and mailing, or consider using Shutterfly's direct mail options. 
• Shipping cut-off dates for the holidays are published on the shipping guidelines page, along with last-minute gift ideas for quick-to-make products. 

What shipping method is recommend? 

• A variety of shipping methods are available to meet different needs.
• Updated shipping options, cost, and delivery timings are shown at checkout based on the products and delivery address. 
• For a balance of cost and reliability, Standard shipping is recommended.
• Economy shipping offers great value (often free with qualifying purchase) but is less reliable and may lack door-to-door tracking.

What does the Basic Shipping Option mean in the cart?

• Date-guaranteed options ensure on-time delivery or the shipping cost is covered.
• These options provide prompt delivery with door-to-door tracking. 
• If a package arrives later than the delivery date or range shown, contact Shutterfly for a credit of the shipping charges. 

How are delivery costs calculated?

• Shipping charges are based on product type, quantity, weight, processing, packaging, and shipping destination. 
• Each product incurs its own delivery charge.

Do all items ship together? 

• Some orders ship in multiple packages to ensure all items arrive by the estimated delivery dates.
• There’s no additional cost when orders shipping in multiple packages. 

Can Signature Required delivery be requested? 

• Shutterfly's unable to accept delivery instructions, including signature-required services. 
• Residential deliveries are typically left at the driver's discretion, while signatures are often obtained for commercial deliveries.

What delivery options are available for P.O. Boxes, U.S. Territories/Protectorates, and Armed Forces APO/FPO/DPO?

*Armed Forces: The estimated arrival date range shown in the cart at checkout is the estimated arrival date range to the APO, FPO or DPO military mail system. Once the order reaches the military mail system, tracking to the recipient is unavailable. 

What delivery options are available for correctional facilities?

• Orders can be sent to correctional facilities if the standard institutional requirements are met.
  • Photos must not contain graphic, violent, or restricted content and must be 4x6 or smaller.
• Orders must be addressed properly with the inmate's name and ID number on the same line, followed by the facility's name and address. 
  • Contact the specific institution to verify mailing requirements and limitations.

• For updates regarding courier disruptions, visit the courier website for real-time updates when available.

• Helpful Tips
  • Super Rush shipping can only be selected for orders shipping to valid street addresses within the United States. 
  • Orders shipping to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Canadian or International addresses are not eligible.
  • To meet the promised delivery date, all orders placed with the Super Rush option will have the usual 30 minute cancellation period waived and go directly to print.
  • Note: There are limitations on the number of Super Rush orders Shutterfly can accept per day.
    • If the Super Rush option is not available at checkout or is greyed out, the maximum number of orders for that product has been reached, or the order does not qualify (see restrictions above).
