Sharing photos, videos and albums is the easiest and fastest way to share lots of memories at once! It makes collaborating among family and friends convenient! Review the items below for everything needed to share photos.

Helpful Tips
  • Any photo deleted from an account will also delete the file image from anyone it's shared with, even if it's saved to someone's account.
  • Albums/photos can only be shared as stated below:
    • For accounts NOT paying for a video plan: 40 shares per day, up to 15 per hour.
    • For accounts actively paying for a video plan: unlimited sharing.

 

Sharing Albums
  • Sharing an Album is the easiest and fastest way to share numerous photos and videos simultaneously, serving as an excellent collaborative tool for family and friends.
  • Two Access Options are Available: 
    • Edit the Album: Allows anyone with the link to have options such as: Save Album, Download Album, Leave Album, Share Album, and Add Photos. 
      • Any images added by others can be removed. 
      • Editing photos is restricted to the original uploader.
    • View the Album: Prevents others from editing the Album, including adding photos to the Album.
  1. Sign in to Shutterfly and Click 'Photos'.

  1. Click 'Albums'.

  1. Hover over the desired Album and Click 'Share'.

Click Share

  1. Select either 'Edit the Album' or 'View the Album' regarding access provided to anyone with the link and Click 'Create Link'.
    • The option 'Edit the Album' is only available when sharing Albums, not single Photos (will be greyed out).

Access Link

  1. Click 'Copy Link' to copy the link and Share with the desired person.

Sharing Photos
  1. Sign in to Shutterfly and Click 'Photos'.

Click Photos

  1. Select Photos to Share and Click 'Share' on the bottom toolbar.

Click Share

  1. Click 'Create Link'.
    • The option to provide access for others to 'Edit the Album' will be greyed out, as this feature is only available for sharing Albums.

Click Create Link

  1. Click 'Copy Link' and Share as desired.

Stop Sharing Album
  • Stop Share: Makes the Album private and deactivates all links.
  1. Sign in to Shutterfly and Click 'Photos'.

Click Photos

  1. Click 'Albums'.

  1. Click on the Shared Album.

  1. Click 'Sharing Options'.

  1. Click 'Stop Share'.

Click Stop Share

  1. Click 'Stop Sharing' to verify.

Verify Stop Sharing

    • When viewing Albums, 'Shared' will be removed from the Album.
