Improved Prints
- In late May 2023, Shutterfly upgraded the paper substrate and color to improve the overall print quality.
- The new substrate is a thicker paper for a more quality feel.
- With more color on each print, photos have better contrast and more dimension for an overall sharper, more colorful image.

Photo Prints
There is no substitute for a classic photo print. Available in 4" x 4", 4" x 6", 5" x 7", 8" x 8", 8" x 10", and Wallets.
Wallet prints are sold in sets of 4 and shipped in uncut 5" x 7" sheets. Back of Print messaging is unavailable for wallet sizes.

Each of the four photos on the paper has a thin (approximately 1/8") white border.

Once cut, each of the four wallet prints will be approximately 2.5" x 3.5" and have a thin white border on all sides that is between 1/16" and 1/8" wide.

The prints can be trimmed down to individual wallet size.

Large Prints
Just wait until you see your best shots blown up to poster-sized prints suitable for framing. Available in 11" x 14", 12" x 12", 16" x 20", and 20" x 30", and panoramic prints in 5" x 15", 8" x 24", and 12" x 36" sizes.
Poster-sized prints are carefully rolled and mailed in a durable tube that exceeds postal guidelines to arrive in pristine condition. This is the only mailing method that Shutterfly uses for poster sized prints.

Finish Descriptions
- Glossy
- Glossy prints are popular because they show vibrant color well. Digital photos printed on glossy paper tend to appear crisper and sharper. Photographs in nature or anything outdoors, with a glossy finish appear to burst with color. The finish seems to have a mirror reflection and high shine.
- Matte
- Black and white images, more formal shots, and larger sized pictures, family portraits, are typically produced on matte paper because of their attention to detail. You may notice there is a texture on the photo.
- Signature Matte Cardstock
- This sustainable forested 120lbs cardstock paper is printed digitally with a textured matte finish that creates a unique way to have your photo stand apart. Photos printed on high-quality card stock allows a smoother look. The thickness is equal to one business card.
