Shutterfly provides the option for accounts to be created and linked with Apple, simplifying the login process and reducing the need for multiple credentials.

Helpful Tips
- The email address on the Apple account must match the one on the Shutterfly account.
- Using an Apple profile with a different email will create a duplicate Shutterfly account without previously saved photos or projects (creating a brand new account).
- Customers signing into the app on iOS devices are unable to log in with Google, while those using Android devices are unable to log in with Apple.

Create a Shutterfly Account with Apple Credentials
- Shutterfly offers the option to create an account with Apple credentials through the website or iOS Shutterfly app (unavailable for Android).
- Click 'Sign In' on the Shutterfly homepage and Click 'Sign Up'.

- Click the Apple icon.

- Click either 'Continue with Password' or 'Sign in with Passkey' to sign into the Apple account.

- Enter Password or Passkey (based on previous selection).
- The following steps are based on using the password option.

- Enter the Apple verification code if two-factor authentication is turned on.

- Click one of the desired options on the trust browser screen.
- Clicking Trust will ensure a verification code won't be required on next log in.

- Click Continue to create a new Shutterfly account using Apple login credentials.
- Name and Email Address can be edited on this screen.
- There's also an option to either share the Apple email login credentials with Shutterfly or Hide the Email by having emails forwarded to the email address.

Logging In Using Apple
- Click 'Sign In' on the Shutterfly homepage and Click 'Sign In'.

- Click the Apple icon.

- Enter Apple email or phone number in the pop-up window.

- Click either 'Continue with Password' or 'Sign in with Passkey' to login.

- Enter either Password or Passkey and Click the right arrow.

- Click 'Continue'.

Hide My Email Option
- Using the 'Hide My Email Option' when signing in with Apple credentials assigns the account a random email address generated by Apple. This is the email address that must be provided when contacting Customer Care. Follow these steps to locate this information.
- Click 'Settings' on the iOS device.
- Click 'Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases' in Settings.

- Click 'iCloud'.

- Click 'Show All' in 'Apps Using iCloud'.

- Click 'Hide My Email'.

- Click 'Shutterfly' to see the entire email used to sign in with Shutterfly under 'Hide My Email'.

Unlinking Apple
- Sign in to the Shutterfly account, Click 'Hi, (Your Name), and Click Account & Settings.

- Scroll down to 'Linked Accounts' and Click 'Unlink Apple Account'.

- Click 'Unlink & Sign Out.

Troubleshooting Login Issues
- For any Apple users encountering issues, please go to https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage to stop Shutterfly access and attempt to log in again.
- Apple shares customer profile information only once, and Cognito requires this for proper authentication.
